The Indian Railway RRB ALP result 2024 was released on the official website of the railway recruitment board on the 27th of February 2025. Candidates who appeared in this recruitment may view the results and the cutoff marks of various special categories. Once you pass this CBT 1 exam, you are qualified to appear for the next CBT 2 exam.
Overview
The Railway Recruitment Board RRB ALP exam date for the CEN 01/2024 RPF SI, CEN 02/2024 technician, CEN 03/2024 (JE, CMA, and metallurgical surgery) has been rescheduled. The various rescheduled dates are below

- ALP CEN 01/2024 : From 25th November 2024 to 29th November 2024 (CBT1)
- CEN RPF 01/2024 SI: from 2nd December 2024 to 12th December 2024
- CEN 02/2024 Technician post: From 18th December to 29th December 2024
- CEN 03/2024 JE and other posts: from 13th December to 17th December 2024
However, the venue of the exam city and date, and travel authority details link will be available 10 days before the exam date on the official website of the Railway Recruitment Board of India.

On the day of the exam, there will be Aadhar link biometric authentication of candidates so candidates to carry their original Aadhar card at the examination hall. Candidates can also do prior Aadhar verification at the website www.rrbapply.gov.in

Details of Exam pattern
This exam will comprise of exam stages namely CBT-1, CBT 2, CBAT (computer-based aptitude test), and document verification.
The CBT 1 exam comprises 75 questions that carry 75 marks for maths, mental ability, GS ( general science), and general awareness, and the duration of the exam is 60 minutes.
The CBT 2 exam is comprised of two parts part A and part B. In part A, subjects include maths, general intelligence, and reasoning, GS, Basic science, and engineering. The total number of questions is 100 for part A and it is to be completed in 90 minutes, while part B comprises questions based on relevant discipline or trade and the total no of questions to be asked are 75 questions to be completed in 60 minutes i.e. 1 hour.
The CBAT exam consists of English and Hindi subject exams. It has no negative marking
Qualifying marks
The minimum qualifying marks of the RRB ALP exam for the various categories are as follows
- General/UR: 40%
- OBC: 30%
- SC: 30%
- ST: 25%
