About FMGE exam: This FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduates examination) is a national-level licensing examination held in India It helps foreign medical graduates to register and work in India as medical practitioners. It will ask 300 marks questions and candidates need to score 50% marks to qualify for the screening test. The National Board of Examination conducts this examination for foreign medical graduates. The latest exam was held on January 12th and the results are expected to be released on 12th Feb this year. On this type of examination after MBBS, after the results are declared, there is no option or fwetueares available to apply for Re-evaluation or rechecking.
After qualifying for this exam, an Indian citizen or OCI can enroll with the National Medical Council (MCI) or State Medical Council of India. Moreover, those who have passed the FMGE exam may also do a rotatory internship to get permanent registration to the MCI or State Medical Council

How to download the FMGE 2025 results pdf?
You can easily download the FMGE 2025 results by visiting the official website of NBE www.nbe.edu.in. On this website search for the link ” FMGE December 2025 results” on the home Page/main page. After this step, click to download and save the file as pdf in your pc or smartphone.
- To check on the pdf results file whether you are in the passed candidates list or how much score you made, press ctrl+F type your roll number, and enter. After this, you can verify your score and the status of your results.
- On the results page, information like candidate roll number total mark scored, status of qualifying, and exam name are printed. If you find any mistakes while viewing the result you may also contact the NBE support team.
- Point to be noted that only those applicants who scored 50%of the marks are qualified while others who got less mark than 150 are considered as fail in this test.
FMGE exam 2025 Cut off or qualifying marks
To crack this exam or qualify to practice medicine and work in India, exam-appearing candidates need to score 50% marks of 300, i.e. 150 Marks. If a candidate can’t score this mark, it won’t be allowed to qualify for practicing medical professional in India. So a student who scored marks above 210 can be called as the good score in this examination.
What was the pass percentage of the 2024 FMGE exam?
In the year 2024, the total pass percentage after the results were announced was 20.19 percent only. If we talk about the highest FMGE passing country then it is Nepal. Note that Nepal follows the same Syllabus as India.

Will there be a next exam in 2025?
Yes the FMGE exam along with the NEET PG will be replaced by the NeXT exam from this year’s August 2025 exam.
