India political GK update: The long-awaited Bihal election results 2025 have been announced. Janata Dal candidate Nitish Kumar won the election. On this victory, the workers of the candidate and party together celebrated at the JDU Janata Dal United office today.
About the Bihar general election 2025
This election was held in two phases, i.e on November 6th and 11th of 2025. In this election, a total of more than 7 crore people gave their vote. On the vote-counting day, a total of two hundred and forty-three returning officers, counting observers, and 18000 counting agents were present.
Who is Nitish Kumar?
Nitish Kumar is an Indian politician, and he is serving as the chief minister of the state since 2015. From the GK point of view, he is the longest-serving Chief Minister serving in the state. Previously, he also held the post of a union minister during the time he was a member of the Samata Party of India.
It was in the year 2005 that he left the Samata party. Before this, he also worked as a member of the Janata Dal.

In the year 1998- 1999, he became Union Minister of India, holding the portfolio of Union Minister of Railways, Agriculture. It was a shocking incident of the Gaisal Train Disaster, after which he resigned from the post.
